The Role:
In this position you will work with a diverse array of clients to apply Industrial Engineering principles to real-world production and service problems. These would include field studies, capacity planning, process improvement, statistical analysis, and quantitative modeling .

You will evaluate the “as is” state of a client situation, document their current processes, and recommend more efficient alternatives. All recommendations must be supported by relevant analysis and modeling.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Industrial Engineering, or closely related discipline
• Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering preferred
• Advanced Excel & Access skills preferred
• Software development experience using Visual Basic for Applications
• Project experience to include discrete-event simulation concepts and software
• Coursework or work experience with statistical analysis
• Coursework or work experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing
• Project Management: Candidate must have project management experience leading small and medium size projects, including managing resources and client communication
• Presentation skills: the candidate must have strong written and verbal communications skills suitable for presenting interim reports and final recommendations to executive level personnel
• Must be willing to travel

Experience:
In addition to the education requirements, this position requires 3 years of work experience which demonstrates using the items listed under the qualification section of this job description.
